I am a documentary filmmaker living in Glyfada, Greece. I’ve recently moved here from the States. As a Greek American, I have been exposed to a wide range of cuisines while staying rooted in Mediterranean flavors. I appreciate everything from regional greek food and village delicacies to haute cuisine.
I love to travel, try new restaurants, cook, bake, and bring people together with food. Dinner parties are my favorite hobby!
I believe food is a truly creative venture that celebrates all of our senses.
In this blog, I will offer recipes along with memories and experiences from cooking with family, throwing dinner parties, and travels.
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.

Hi Melissa! Im glad you are enjoying the blog. 🙂 Karps is a beautiful island, isn’t it? I will try to get my grandmother to write down the recipe for me this summer and post it. 🙂
I have enjoyed your Blog and your recipes. Keep posting!!!!
I came across your blog and was wondering if your last name is Dimitri? I could not tell, but I had a gradeschool friend when I was younger who lived in Evanston, IL but then moved back to Greece and we lost touch. Thanks.
